Seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a dedicated team providing specialized care for patients with cardiac and neurological needs. This role requires strong clinical expertise, particularly in telemetry and step-down units, and includes floating responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with stroke, TIA, CHF, post-cardiac procedures, and post-neurosurgery.
- Perform specialized procedures, including post-cardiac cath care, radial band and groin site management, and NIHSS assessments.
- Administer and manage blood products, stable drips, and medications like Heparin, Insulin, and Nitroglycerin.
- Manage telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency responses.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years required.
- Licensure: Active WA RN license or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
- If in process, provide application date and estimated issue date.
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS (all required)
Skills and Equipment:
- Special Procedures: Post-cardiac cath care, chest tube setup, CPAP/BiPap, trach care, and wound VAC.
- Equipment: PICC lines, central lines, triple lumen catheters, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps.
- Skills: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, pre/post-cardiac cath care, and titration of cardiac drips.

- Shift Hours: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00)
- Floating: Required.
- Staffing Ratios: 1:5.
