Job Details
Seeking an experienced Observation Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated team at a short-term acute care facility. This position offers flexible shift options with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Care for surgical observation, procedural observation, and medical inpatient cases.
- Manage a mix of medical observation and extended-stay patients.
- Float between similar units as required, based on skill set.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Licensure: WA RN or Compact RN license at time of submission.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Required)
- ACLS, PALS (Preferred)
- EPIC charting experience required.
Additional Information
- Shift Options: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30). 3x12HR or 4x12HR shifts available.
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 (Day), 1:6 (Night).
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required.
- Unit Details:
- Average daily census: 40 patients.
- No chemo, peritoneal dialysis, or hemodynamically unstable cases.
